Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of attending my first event as Mayor of Thetford, and what a fantastic one it was! By special invitation, I joined the audience for Little Shop of Horrors, performed by the incredibly talented Magic Floor Productions. I was accompanied by my wonderful husband, serving as Mayor’s Consort, and our daughter, making it a truly special family evening.
From the very first scene to the final bow, the production was nothing short of outstanding. Despite the obvious difference in budget compared to a West End show, you genuinely couldn’t tell. The quality was exceptional brilliant voices, hilarious characters, and a level of performance that was seamless from start to finish. Every actor brought something magical to the stage, and I can honestly say I’d happily pay a premium to see them again.
It was great fun to meet the cast and crew afterwards and snap a few photos their energy and passion are infectious.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved. You’ve made Thetford proud!
