A Knockout Afternoon with Thetford Town Boxing Club

This Sunday 25th of May, I had the pleasure of attending a fantastic event hosted by the Thetford Town Boxing Club, my first visit as Mayor of Thetford, and what an honour it was!

The atmosphere was electric, with boxers of all ages and categories showcasing incredible skill, discipline, and sportsmanship. It was truly inspiring to see such talent and dedication in our community.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the opportunity to present trophies to some of our brilliant young athletes. Seeing their pride and joy and the support from their families and coaches reminded me of how vital clubs like this are for our youth and our town.

The event was extremely well attended and wonderfully organised. A huge thank you to everyone at Thetford Town Boxing Club for the warm welcome and for all the hard work behind the scenes. You are doing an amazing job, keep punching forward!
